Pecking order: Forgotten

It should be illegal to post these kinds of videos!

Its not that I don’t like them, or do not find them so heart warming – quite the opposite! I want to go out, RIGHT NOW, and buy an owl who I can pet and who will close their round, wide eyes in comfort and bliss.

But in actuality, owls do not like to be stroked and patted. And they eat small rodents. Then, they regurgitate woolly pellets of bones from these small rodents. Let’s not even get into their aptitude for pecking out ones eyes. Owls should not be pets and I hate videos that make me forget that!!!

Usually, I don’t repost this kind of stuff cause I’m not one of those “life is beautiful, treasure every moment like it’s your last” kind of people. However, this was both a great premise and well executed. Poor choice of person to quote at the end though, IMO.

Evy likes to play with food!

I’ve been wanting to post this for a few days, but for some odd reason Vimeo ate it and didn’t poop it out or something. Anyhow, here’s a video of my daughter taken last week. She’s getting so big!

PS: For some odd reason the microphone on our DSLR seems to be on the back where the photographer is – so it’s my voice that is the loudest. She’s not doing much talking, so I suggest you keep it low or even mute it.

This is really amazing! The fact that the robot is able to look as smooth as it does is impressive. The hands are too big though… WAY too big.

HOOLA HOOPS!

I really enjoyed this video, but I found the choreography to be a bit bland. He did the same actions for too long before switching. In some of the moves it was appropriate, but not all.

PS: I didn’t know you could embed a vimeo video – this makes me very happy. I’m glad the WordPress is making it possible to embed videos without really “embedding” them and compromising the security of the site.
