The last two weeks – and this week is shaping up the same way – have been such whirlwinds. I started training last week and so the entire week before was crunch time to get the training manual created. It was frustrating because just when I felt like I had it done my team began to read it for the first time (not sure why they didn’t read it before…) and had A LOT of changes they wanted made. Every night I was able to, I was staying at least two hours later at work. In the end it all worked out, but it was stressful.
Then I started training last week and though it started well it wasn’t all sunshine and flowers. Its hard trying to convince people that they need to change, even though they’ve been doing it “correctly” and leave a warm happy feeling in their bellies. On Wednesday I started my cycle. I know that might seem like trivial information to most, but my cycle effects my milk production so drastically that its a very stressful time. Evy notices the difference and we have to supplement with bottles and its just hard.
I moved my day off – Wednesday – to Thursday so it seemed even longer. We found out on Thursday that my father-in-law was fired from a job he’d held for 28 years
Then on Friday Paul’s parents came down to visit, and we had our Bradley (natural birthing method) class reunion. The reunion was a lot of fun, but by the time we got home I was exhausted!
Saturday we woke up and began to pack, as we’d promised my parents we’d meet them at their favorite campground and spend the night. It was a lot of fun and the weather was a really interesting
We got there and it was cold!, then the wind picked up and by the next day it was SO blustery! We had to take down the awning and we weren’t allowed on the lake. On Sunday my sister & her family came down and it was a bit crowded in the fifth-wheel trailer, but in a good way. We had lunch, the babies played with each other, my older nephew was spoiled by his grandparents, we rode bikes, roasted marshmallows, had tons of hotdogs, it was good. Very, very good

We drove back on Sunday night and again fell into bed to start it all over again on Monday. I’m still training this week so again my Wednesday will be moved to Thrusday and to top it off Paul has to work on Saturday. Our week of rest will come NEXT week I suppose…
