Switching it up a bit!

I changed my blog a bit on Wednesday, I was getting bored with it and I was also ready for a three column layout – I had to scroll too far for my blogroll and stuff.

I started reading Peter Pan to Evy and BOY is that a tongue twister. You can tell, Barrie had a style that was very different from today’s style. Basically, every sentence is jumbled to be exactly opposite – or close – to what I would have written. With that said, it’s still a great book. The edition I have is slightly illustrated (every three pages has one illustration), it’s hardcover with textured pages. Very nice, very nice.

I’ve been sleeping terribly. Evy’s going through a growth spurt and so she’s waking every night. On top of that I watched some scary movie previews (Paranormal Activity, The Fourth Kind) that freaked me out too much and now my mind is playing tricks on me. It doesn’t matter that I turn on a soft light or the TV, I’m still freaked out. Stupid imagination.

I’m glad today’s Friday. Tonight is our Bradley Birthing class reunion, there were nine couples in our class so all nine couples bring the new babies together and we all talk about our birth stories and such. I’m excited! I feel, aside from all of the medical intervention I could have done without, that my birth story is a good one. Good enough that I’m confident about having another baby. At our last class, in Feburary, I was still months away from giving birth and only one couple had given birth. As I said, I’m excited!
